DOMESTIC UNDERFLOOR HEATING

How it would be to have a single light switch for the entire house? – Makes no sense really? However, until recently, a single heating control would have been accepted to run both upstairs and downstairs of your home. Using state of the art heating controls, combined with our domestic underfloor heating systems installed in your house, you can ensure all of your rooms are as comfortable as possible.

Our warm water UFH systems circulate heated water through plastic pipes installed underneath the floor and are connected to the main central heating source.

ENERGY SAVING

Domestic Underfloor Heating in an existing home will save around 40% energy costs over a radiator system.

Wet underfloor heating (UFH) systems generate temperatures of around 40°C to 65°C, meaning that the actual floor temperature will be on average between 23°C and 32°C. This is actually lower than a standard radiator, so your household heating costs should be reduced over time.

Preparing for a dinner party? As the oven warms up the kitchen, your floor will automatically adapt to the extra heat, but keep your dining area at the comfortable temperature to enjoy your meal.

Answering the front door to your guests? Individual thermostats will boost the temperature in the entrance hall as the cold wind comes through the door.

Not only is underfloor heating a cost effective, more efficient method of heating your home, it is also much easier to install than many people imagine. Combined with our functional thermostats that can be wired throughout a house or retro-fitted using Wi-Fi to communicate.

Total Control. Total Comfort. Totally Easy.

TOTAL
CONTROL

Our thermostats work with your Smartphone, so you can set your UFH system to automatically turn down a few degrees when you leave the house, and turn itself back up when you return home.

WHAT IS UFH?

With other forms of heating, such as warm air or radiators, (which heat a room by convection – a circulatory motion of warm air), if you leave the back door open for five minutes, all the heated air escapes. But with UFH the structure of the building itself stays warm, regardless of air temperature changes.

With underfloor heating throughout your living areas, you’ll find you won’t get “warm spots”, but instead a much more balanced, ambient warmth throughout the entire room.

BESPOKE CONTROL

When installing an Underfloor Heating System we connect the tubing to a single centralised manifold for smaller jobs or multiple manifolds to suit larger projects. Manifolds automatically release air from the system and are the element which connects to the boiler/s. The manifold controls the pressure supplied to the different areas of the house. This provides bespoke control to suit any layout. Through the manifold each area is adjusted and can be altered in the future to a particular customer’s needs.

Comfort, efficiency and the freedom to design a room without having to work around radiators. More and more people are investing in underfloor heating. What could be more tempting than the idea of cosy toes as you set foot into the kitchen early in the morning?

TASC provided an excellent standard of work from day one to completion. Prompt arrival every day and finished to scheduled timescale. Installers very helpful and friendly and the work carried out was very professional. Would genuinely use them again.

Normally wouldn’t take the time to do something like this, but I must say my wife and I are so happy with the work carried out by the TASC team. The installers were very experienced and provided work to a very high professional standard. Friendly, helpful and polite. Couldn’t be happier with the end result. Would definitely recommend TASC Floor Systems.

Mr & Mrs Hughes

The good news is that underfloor heating is suitable for all types of projects, from new builds to retrofits and refurbishments, and can adapt to suit many different types of flooring.

To ensure you invest in the right one for your home, our engineers create a bespoke solution designed around your home, using some of the most advanced planning applications available.

Not only will your home be much more energy efficient because it can run at a lower temperature than radiators, it will also contain heat for several hours in the floor once it reaches the optimum temperature. All our systems of underfloor heating provide a much more even spread of heat than a radiator.

INSTALLATION OPTIONS

We lay a complex pattern of PE-RT Piping in a layout which we design through CAD (Computer Aided Design), for optimal heat dispersion throughout the living or working space; providing in floor heating to your family.

These pipes are filled with warm water which conducts to the surface above them, the pipes are laid upon insulation which ensures the vast majority of heat is delivered to the screed and in turn radiates to the air above.

No digging up floors, pouring large volumes of concrete. In fact, we can retrofit a home with UFH in as little as 15mm of depth, upstairs or on the ground floor, meaning only some small alterations would be needed to your doors.
